Flexible, Professional and Full-Serviceonline, onsite, hands-on, customizable forensic science training fingerprint, latent print and pattern evidence

NFSTC offers flexible, tailored training on a fee-for-service basis. With subject matter experts in most areas of forensics and experienced instructional design professionals on staff, training is customizable on every level. The cost to agencies is based on the customized plan.  NFSTC can provide training in disciplines including:

  • trace evidence
  • finger print analysis
  • crime scene investigation
  • medicolegal death investigation
  • site exploitation
  • cell phone and digital evidence exploitation
  • e-crimes
  • firearm examination
  • technology transition to the field

NFSTC courses can be brought to agencies at any location or held at the NFSTC headquarters in Largo, FL.  NFSTC facilities include multiple flexible training spaces and full laboratory facilities. Class sizes of up to 30 students can be accommodated and travel logistics can be managed completely through NFSTC.

DNA Trainingonline, onsite, hands-on, customizable forensic science training DNA, chemistry, post-blast laboratory facilities

DNA Analyst services build upon the academic foundation developed by NFSTC for the National Institute of Justice as part of the DNA Initiative. The DNA Analyst Training program is available online at no cost at dna.gov/audiences/forensic.

Using this core curriculum, NFSTC developed related DNA training and specialized workshops for existing and emerging technologies. Training courses include:

  • Entry-level DNA analyst training
  • Refresher training such as Population Genetics
  • Statistics and Data Interpretation
  • New technology implementation training

Our customers have included the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Nebraska State Patrol, Washington State Patrol and Wisconsin Department of Justice.
