Step Two
The point at which the contamination has occurred may be determined by re-working the samples in reverse in a step-by-step manner (see Step One: Identify Problem). Although alleles under the threshold are not reported in casework, these should be considered when performing investigations/corrective actions to assist in the determination of the source.
