International Labour Organization (ILO)
The International Labour Organization (ILO), created in 1919, is a United Nations agency that seeks the "promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights." The ILO formulates international labor standards and provides technical assistance in such areas as vocational training, employment policy, working conditions, labor relations, and management development.10
