Access Instructions

Navigating through the Quality Documents is as simple as using a table of contents.

  1. Select the general category from the Table of Contents. The associated Reference Guide page displays a brief description of the documents section and links to the associated quality documents.

  2. Click on the document link. The File Download dialog box displays. Select one of the options presented:

    1. Click Open - The document opens in the appropriate application (i.e. Microsoft Word or Excel). There may be a short delay for the document to open, depending on the size of the file and the speed of your computer.

Once the document is open, it is possible to navigate via the links in the document to other related documents and to the Document Reference Guide file, where provided.

****Note that the Document Reference Guide is the file version, which provides access to all documents in the Quality Documents program. Depending upon your system setup, accessing a number of documents may necessitate closing some of those documents to speed the access to additional documents.

****Upon opening a linked document, a message similar to the one shown below may appear. At the time these documents were posted, there were no viruses present.

    MS Office dialog box

To return to the online Document Reference Guide - Table of Contents, close the open document(s) or select the browser window from the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

    1. Click Save - The Save As dialog box opens. Navigate to the desired hard drive location and select Save.

****Note that to retain the links within the file version of the Quality Documents program, ALL DOCUMENTS must be saved at one time to a single location. To learn more about this option, refer to the Download All Documents option instructions.
