NFSTC CEO honored at ASCLD annual symposium

Kevin Lothridge, NFSTC CEO, with his Briggs White AwardKevin Lothridge, CEO of NFSTC was presented with the Briggs White Award at the 42nd annual American Society of Crime Lab Directors (ASCLD) Symposium held in Washington, DC. The annual award recognizes the ASCLD member who most demonstrates long-term managerial excellence in forensic science.

In a significant coincidence, the honor comes on the heels of the founding NFSTC by ASCLD leadership 20 years ago. During his acceptance speech Kevin, a former ASCLD president, thanked the members who tasked NFSTC to “do good things” in the forensic science industry and expanded on the success the not-for-profit organization has achieved over the past two decades.

For more than 30 years, Kevin has worked in the forensic science industry. Under his guidance, NFSTC has transformed into a forensic science thought leader with the goal to improve practice of forensics in the U.S. and inform and influence the international forensic science community to achieve high standards in forensic services.

We are proud to have him as part of our NFSTC leadership.
