NFSTC named a top workplace in Tampa Bay

The Tampa Bay Times recently announced the top workplaces in the Bay Area for 2012. And once again, NFSTC made the list, ranking #12 out of the top 35 small businesses in the Bay area.

The rankings were based on anonymous surveys conducted of employees. Almost 23,000 workers provided opinions on everything from what they find most fun about their job to their views of upper management. Some quotes from NFSTC staff provide a glimpse of the warm feelings that helped NFSTC make the list again this year:

“I work for an organization that makes a point to include each team member as a vital part. We are all greatly appreciated, respected and loyal because of it.”

“I work with innovative, positive, professional people in an interesting field.”

“My work directly contributes to our society, locally and nationally. My expertise is valued and appreciated.”

When interviewed for a news story connected with the results, Nicole McFarland, a forensic services technician at NFSTC, summed it up: “I don’t get the Sunday five o’clock ‘I don’t want to go to work on Monday feeling’.”
