Wisconsin Attorney General J.B.Van Hollen, recently declared the state’s DNA backlog backlog to be “history”. In an Associated Press (AP) story dated April 21, 2010, a letter from Van Hollen to the state’s lawmakers announced the success of on of his top priorieties since taking office in 2007. Van Hollen credits the training, provided by the National Forensic Science Technology Center, to have increased the labs’ productivity.
