This 2.5 hour course covers administrative and scientific concepts and safe laboratory practices. Forensic scientists are responsible for more than analysis of evidence; they are also accountable for accurate record keeping, chain of custody documentation, stringent quality control and data management.
An overview of techniques used to characterize body fluids and other biological materials is included. It’s self-paced and uses interactive design including videos to demonstrate testing methods and processes, and self-check questions to test understanding of material.
